Education/College Relations
Education Committee
The Education Committee monitors and evaluates activities concerning education issues and plans and encourages chapter involvement and activities impacting the education arena. At monthly meetings, the committee presents an education report or update to the chapter members. The committee also serves as a liaison with local schools, colleges and universities in areas that effect human resources in their programs. For information regarding our chapter scholarships, please see West Georgia SHRM Scholarship, on the Home Page.

Lending Library
Thank you for participating in the West Georgia SHRM Lending Library program. Our goal is to support our colleagues in their efforts through the sharing of resources that we have found helpful in our own positions.
If you have a book, CD, training video, etc. that you are willing to loan to a colleague for a specified period of time, please use the attached sheet to fill in the pertinent information. Indicate title, author, category that best fits your material(s), and length of time for which you are willing to loan the resource. (If we left out a category, please feel free to add it to the list.) Finally, if the title of the resource doesn't clearly explain the content, please include a very brief synopsis in the "comment" area.
The Education Committee will build a database to catalog the materials and that catalog will then be available to any active member of SHRM who is interested in learning more about an area within our profession. Please email your completed resource sheets to:
