JOB LISTINGS: GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TECHNICAL AND ADULT EDUCATION (3) PositionsThe Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education is accepting applications for the following full-time position with regular state benefits:Training Coordinator, Evening Programs , Office of Economic Development, Georgia Quick StartSalary is commensurate with experience.Location: Kia Georgia Training Center , West Point , GeorgiaThe position is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications below.Duties : Establishes and implements employment training programs for the Kia Georgia Training Center in West Point , Georgia . The incumbent prepares training curriculums, conducts project studies, and works closely with subject matter experts to develop and implement workforce training programs. In addition, the person shall coordinate the evening training programs as scheduled, and be responsible for scheduling of contract personnel during such periods. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently is required for this position. Minimal travel may be required.Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resource Administration, Industrial Training, or a related field; *and* five (5) years experience in a manufacturing training or training/educational assessment environment. Work experience must include the formal development and administration of complex scheduling activities.Preferred Qualifications : (In addition to minimum qualifications) Masters degree in a related field *and*eight (8) years experience in a manufacturing training or training/educational assessment environment.Coordinator, Robotics and Electronics Technology, Office of Economic Development, Quick StartSalary is commensurate with experience.Location: West Point Quick Start Training Center, West Point, GeorgiaThe position is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications below.Duties : Coordinates the design, development, and delivery of the robotics, automation, and electronics training programs for the Quick Start training center in West Point, Georgia. The incumbent will be responsible for training course curriculum, contractor activities, classroom and lab training schedules, and ensuring effective training programs. Ensures availability of training equipment availability and current instruction materials. Travel may be required.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline *and* Five (5) years of plant floor experience designing, implementing or maintaining electrical control systems, robotic systems, or general manufacturing automation systems. Technical skills for maintaining and programming articulated arm robots, PLC systems, or servo motion systems.Preferred Qualifications : (In addition to minimum qualifications) Master's degree in engineering, instructional technology, or other advanced level training or certification in instructional technology or courseware development. Experience with Arc and Spot welding performing on Robotics platform is a plus.Desktop Publisher/Technical Illustrator , Office of Economic Development, Georgia Quick StartSalary is commensurate with experience.Location: Kia Georgia Training Center, West Point, GeorgiaThe position is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications below.Duties : Designs and creates technical illustrations, produces manuals, publications, presentations, and/or other types of graphic collateral for a fast-paced corporate and multi-customer training environment. Additional responsibilities could include Web design with the ability to write HTML code and develop page layout using desktop skills. This is a high visibility position that requires the individual to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate should be a self-thinker, self-motivated and able to work as part of a creative team while multi-tasking.Qualifications : Associate's degree in graphic design or related field *and* two year's experience working in a graphics related field. Demonstrated proficiency in Illustrator, Web development tools that includes HTML coding, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite. Note: A four year related degree and hands on web design and development experience may substitute for one year's experience in a graphics related field.Preferred Qualifications : (In addition to minimum qualifications) Bachelor's Degree in a related field and Web Design Development, Understanding of Multimedia Design, and Large Format experience.How to Apply to these positions?
